AI Product Launch Checklist: Ship in 48 Hours

Most solopreneurs spend three weeks agonising over a launch that could ship in two days. With AI handling the heavy writing work, 48 hours is enough time to build every asset you need — from sales copy to follow-up emails.

Why Most Product Launches Stall

The bottleneck is never the product. It's the stack of writing tasks sitting between 'ready to sell' and 'live in the world': a sales page, announcement email, social posts, an FAQ, and a post-purchase sequence. Each one feels like a separate project. AI collapses them into one focused sprint.

The 48-Hour AI Launch Workflow

Split the work across two days. Day one covers all the copy assets. Day two covers distribution and scheduling. Here is the exact order that prevents you from writing the same thing twice.

Day 1 Morning: Build Your Core Positioning Prompt

Before you write a single asset, give your AI tool one master context block. Include: what the product does, who it is for, the single biggest outcome it delivers, three objections buyers have, and the price. Every asset you generate today will reference this block. This stops you rewriting the same brief six times and keeps every piece of copy consistent.

  • Product name and one-sentence description
  • Target buyer (role, pain point, goal)
  • Primary outcome with a concrete number if you have one
  • Top three objections
  • Price and any launch bonus or deadline

Day 1 Afternoon: Generate Every Written Asset

With your context block saved, prompt your AI tool to produce each asset in sequence. Use the output of one as input for the next — for example, paste the sales page headline into the announcement email prompt so the language matches.

  • Sales page: headline, three benefit bullets, social proof placeholder, CTA
  • Launch announcement email (200–250 words, plain text)
  • FAQ section — ask the AI to generate 6 questions a hesitant buyer would ask, then answer each one
  • 5 social media captions in different formats: story, stat, objection-buster, behind-the-scenes, urgency
  • 3-email post-purchase sequence: welcome, quick-win tip, upsell or review ask

Realistically this takes 90 minutes of active prompting and editing. If you want a deeper look at which tools handle long-form copy best, check the free Top 10 AI Tools guide before you start.

Day 2 Morning: Assemble and Schedule

Paste your sales page copy into your website builder — most solopreneurs use a single-page layout on Carrd, Framer, or a Notion site. Drop the FAQ block at the bottom. Schedule your announcement email for mid-morning when open rates tend to peak. Queue your five social captions across the week using a scheduler like Buffer or the native scheduler on each platform.

Day 2 Afternoon: QA Your AI Launch Assets

AI copy is fast but not always accurate. Run a 20-minute check before anything goes live.

  • Read every claim out loud — remove anything you cannot back up
  • Check that prices, dates, and bonus details are identical across all assets
  • Paste the sales page into a readability tool and simplify any sentences over 25 words
  • Send the announcement email to yourself first and read it on mobile
  • Confirm all links point to the right page

What to Do If You Get Weak AI Output

Weak output almost always means a vague prompt. If the sales headline feels generic, add a specific number or named pain point: 'Write a headline for a freelance designer who loses 6 hours a week to revision requests.' Specificity is the single lever that improves AI copy quality the most.

The Result: A Full Launch in Two Days

By end of day two you have a live sales page, a sent announcement email, a week of scheduled social content, a post-purchase sequence loaded in your email tool, and an FAQ that handles objections without you lifting the phone. That is a complete launch — not a placeholder page and a vague plan to 'do the emails later'. Ship it, watch the data for 72 hours, then iterate. Speed beats perfection every time.
